I think this song is about a generation of people who cannot stand up and take responsibility/control of their lives as they should. We do see "open doors" and opportunities, however we do not know how to use them. "cut the cord" We are a generation , or even a smaller smaller group of individuals, and we all understand and have morals, virtues, and great faith in each of us. We were taught by our parents and upbringing everything we needed to survive in life. But as children of the 80's, 90's, we saw the world change drastically. And this is where we have no answers. We know we are human, but we feel like dancers. Dancers have a short shelf life. We do not know what the future holds there is no message we're recieving "let me know, is your heart still beating" To me, it asks how long will we have this planet that we call home.

This is my offical life theme song! Sometimes life is just down right hard and we wonder if we can really do it. We have dreams and goals but sometimes wonder if we are capable of ever reacting them. The answer is YES. There are no boundaries. We can be whoever and whatever we want to be. We will get there. But we have to remember that its the journey that teaches us the most. Its where we gain our strength and everything necesary to get there. So take your dreams by the hand. They WILL show you that you can!

Day 16 - "Leaving Town" by Dexter Freebish

Man does this bring back me back to middle school! I believe this song was the offical start to my obsession with music. I heard it. Had to have it, and found it. But this was way before YouTube and Google so the process took much longer than it does now. But hey, I eventually found it and my soul was happy!

Day 15 - "Water Landing" by Third Eye Blind

When I first heard this song my friend turned to me about a minute into it and said "are you ready for it?" Ready for what? Just wait for it and you'll see ;) this song has a little mix of everything. Slow pace part + Fast pace break out into a dance part + A little rap part + More song = Complete awesomeness! and yes you better believe it . . . awesomeness is a word.

I just barely discovered this one and I love it! I guess to put it into perspective it is hard to let go when doors are left open and questions of "what if" go un-answered. Its not like we can just say GET OVER IT! and move on . . . but thats when time becomes our best friend . . . because it does heal all wounds. Thanks Time :)

As seen on Vampire diaries . . . If its good enough for a blood-sucking vampire then its definitely good enough for me. Actually its pretty amazing! Especially going full speed with the car windows rolled down. Enjoy! It one of my current favorites.

Nothing lasts forever. The good stuff . . . even the bad stuff. I think one of the biggest things we can ever learn in life is to "come what may, and love it". Learning to love every phase of life because before we know it, it will be gone and on to the next step. We only live once so we might as well take it for all its worth.

The Beginning . . .

I love music . . . ok for those that know me that's a total understatment. I'm obsessed with it! I'm one of those people you find at 1:00 in the morning saying "ok just one more song and then I'll go to bed!" then before you know it its 3:00. This obsession started at a very young age. I'd hear a song and wouldn't stop until I found out who sang it and where I could get it. As time went on my thanks goes out to the internet for making it so much more easier on me to do so. How did we ever live without iTunes? or YouTube? or even google? This list is a compilation of hours spent searching and digging to find, in my opinion, songs that awaken the deepest parts of us or songs that just merely entertain, bring excitement, makes us happy, or makes a good road trip song. Music speaks to our soul and expresses things that can't be expressed in any other way. I find when I can't put what I'm feeling into words . . . theres always some song somewhere that can do it for me. I don't claim to know everything there is to know about music and I don't take credit for any of the songs you will see here. Hey, you may not even like them ;). All I'm doing is simply stating that I'm a fan. So here you go! A theme song for everyday. Some old, Some new. Some you've heard of, some you haven't. I honestly just want to see if I can do it.
